Planning application submitted to South Hams District Council for four detached dwellings
A detailed planning application has recently been submitted to South Hams District Council for four detached dwellings. The Planning reference number is: 14_56/3230/11/F and the target date for a decision is February 2012. We are proposing a series of four contemporary style detached 4 bed houses as a standalone group arranged in a gently curving crescent fronting on to Dartington Lane. The house design has taken inspiration from a number of 1920's artdeco houses built in within the adjacent Dartington Hall estate and the proposals include both garage parking and bike & bin storage areas as integral design elements of the overall scheme. During the evolution of the scheme proposals, consideration of the potential impact on both protected wildlife such as 'Greater Horseshoe Bats' and also the fluvial flood plain of the River Dart have been paramount.
